At Bardon State School, we warmly welcome enrolment enquiries from families both within and beyond our local catchment area. As we do not have an enrolment management plan, we encourage all families considering Bardon to get in touch and discover what makes our school such a special place to learn and grow.

If you are considering enrolling your child, we invite you to join one of our regular Principal-led school tours. It's a wonderful opportunity to experience our school in action, explore our learning environments, meet our community and ask any questions you may have. We look forward to wecoming you to Bardon!
When to Apply
Families wishing to enrol their child for the following year are encouraged to submit completed enrolment forms from the beginning of Term 2.
Once we receive your application, we will contact you to arrange an enrolment meeting. This meeting is an important first step in building a positive partnership between home and school. It gives us the opportunity to get to know your child and your family, and for you to ask questions or share any information that will help us support your child's transition to school.
We believe children thrive when families and schools work closely together, and we value starting this relationship early.
For families relocating from interstate or overseas, enrolment meetings can be arranged via Zoom or Microsoft Teams if you are not yet living locally.
Enrolment Requirements
As part of the enrolment process:
A parent or carer and the prospective student are required to attend a meeting with the Principal or delegated Enrolment Officer.
Verification of your child's date of birth (Birth Certificate or Passport) is required.
Proof of residential address is required (copy of your latest rates bill or a signed copy of your lease).
